The Spring 2018 quarterly limited edition of Field Notes pocket notebooks features two 3-packs separated by 2,800 miles. The "Coastal" Edition is a celebration of the left and right edges of the U.S.A.. Hey, we're not feeling slighted being a Texas-based company. Many destinations and bucket list trips are planned around the edges of this country.
You get three different notebooks with the East Coast, from Maine to Florida, or West Coast, from Puget Sound to the Mexican border, mapped across them in two bright holographic foils, stamped and debossed into Neenah Classic Crest “Cadet Gray” 100# cover stock. Depending on how you're looking at each color, the foils can appear to be almost any color, although they start as a deep gold on the shore and a rich, aqua blue in the water.
The body pages are Field Notes standard Finch Opaque Smooth 60# paper, but printed with a split fountain of ink. The reticles on some pages are blue, some pages are green, and most are somewhere in between. It adds just a little fun to your EDC pocket notebook.
The Coastal series is available in two different variations:
