Once again, we've turned to Huntsville, Alabama's Makers South to create a thin front pocket leather wallet for us. From the same family as our Leather Notebook Wallet and Minimalist Wallet, we wanted to create an everyday wallet that can hold the basics (driver's license, a handful of credit cards) with room for a little bit more (such as your insurance card, License to Carry a Handgun, and a few emergency bills). Our founder, Cody Martin, carried a prototype of this for a few months to perfect the shape and size for such a functional, durable, and simple EDC wallet.
Like our other leather wallets, it all starts with leather from Horween Leather Company, in business since 1905. Still tanned by hand on the corner of Elston and Ashland in Chicago, Illinois, the leather is 3.5/4.0 oz Nut Brown Dublin vegetable tanned leather. Its high oil content ages beautifully over time, making it the ideal choice for a wallet, which must be durable and be able to withstand daily use.
Cut and sewn by hand with cream-colored waxed thread, the Option Gray Thin Front Pocket Leather Wallet features two pockets, one on each side of the wallet. Both are perfectly sized to fit credit cards, debit cards, driver license, identification, or anything else of similar size. This wallet is the perfect thin front pocket wallet for a slimmed down EDC.
