Carrying a tourniquet as part of a Primary EDC can sometimes prove to be problematic. Stored in a bulky case or held together by rubber bands, it can become cumbersome to carry on your person. As a result, there are many who simply omit carrying a tourniquet, which can be a critical piece of their everyday carry. The solution? An innovative way to carry a windlass tourniquet for everyday applications.
The PHLster Flatpack Tourniquet Carrier eliminates the need for bulky or inconvenient carry options while still allowing quick, one-handed operation. Plainclothes carry of a tourniquet has never been easier.
The Flatpack's simplistic design allows you to flat fold your tourniquet and secure it to the backboard via durable elastic shock cord. The Flatpack has an adjustable tension system which allows it to be used with any tourniquet. The included polymer coated nylon soft-loops allow it to be mounted horizontally on the belt for use with either hand. If you prefer a pocket or off-body carry, simply remove the soft-loops which allows a more compact profile. You can still deploy the tourniquet one-handed which can prove to be an issue when utilizing rubber bands to secure your TQ. If you prefer vertical carry, simply install a MALICE clip and you can carry it vertically on the belt or on any gear with MOLLE webbing. The Flatpack is a versatile, low-profile solution that addresses all the excuses for not carrying a tourniquet as a part of your Primary EDC.
