Shipping timeframe and carriers
Most packages will ship the same day from North Texas, typically leaving out of the Dallas/Fort Worth airport. Orders placed after 3pm CST will be shipped the next business day. Business days are Monday thru Friday and do not include weekends or holidays. Shipping estimates are valid for in-stock items only. Shipping time varies based on your location.
For Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and APO/FPO Addresses
Orders always ship via U.S. Postal Service. PO Boxes are only acceptable when shipping to these types of addresses.
For Contiguous United States (Lower 48) and International Addresses
Orders ship via U.S. Postal Service or DHL Worldwide.
Delays and problems in shipping
Weather Delays / Natural Disasters
Please keep in mind that shipping and order processing can be affected by extreme weather or natural disasters. If one of these conditions occurs, please add an additional 1 to 2 business days to the estimated delivery date of your order, depending on the severity. We will try to communicate to you any delays and will work with you to make sure your delivery is as close to the expected delivery day as possible.
Occasionally, packages are returned to Option Gray as undeliverable. In the event that this happens, we will attempt to reach the purchaser or the receiver (if they differ). If for some reason we are unable to contact anyone, we will issue a refund (including shipping charges) in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase. If the package is returned due to an incorrect address, we will try and reach the purchaser or the receiver (if they differ) to correct the address. Once the address is corrected we will reship the package. Additional shipping charges may apply.
If you provided an incorrect address to ship your items to, please contact us as quickly as possible. Some packages may be stopped prior to delivery and we will make every attempt to correct the order. If we are unable to stop the delivery and the package is not returned, we are unable to refund your order.
Additional shipping costs to re-ship the items to the correct address are your responsibility.
Failed Delivery Attempts
Most of our shipping carriers make three attempts to deliver a package. It is generally up to the driver’s discretion to determine whether a signature is required. If the driver feels it is best to obtain a signature and no one is present to accept the delivery after three attempts, the package will be returned to us.
Refused by recipient
If a gift recipient is not expecting a gift, they may refuse the package if they believe it was sent to them in error. If you still want to send these items, you may want to let the recipient know that a surprise is on the way.
If we reship a package because it was originally refused by a recipient, additional shipping charges may apply.
Canceling or changing an order
We work hard to get orders shipped as quickly as possible, most times the same day as you place your order. If you'd like to change or cancel, please contact us by sending an email to email@example.com as quickly as possible. If your order has already shipped, we will work with you to either cancel the shipment (only available on select shipping methods) or return it once you do receive it. Any returns always fall under our return guidelines.
Lost or stolen packages
It is your responsibility to make sure that the address you are having your package mailed to is secure. If you are likely not to be home at delivery, we strongly recommend that you select Priority Mail as your shipping option, as it comes with $100 of insurance, AND request a signature at delivery by noting it in the comments at checkout. If you need more insurance, please contact us and we can assist you with increasing the insurance amount. Option Gray is not responsible for any goods delivered that are lost or stolen, but we will work with you and our carriers to assist you in any way possible.
We also offer "signature required" at delivery. Please contact us or comment during checkout and we will gladly require a signature at delivery for your order, at no cost to you.
Option Gray strives to deliver the best possible products and service. That is why we recognize the importance of shipping your items so that they arrive in perfect condition, and we use a variety of packaging material to protect the products you’ve ordered.
We also care about the environment and know you to do. We do not want to contribute to an already growing problem of excess waste. That is why we make every attempt to have our packaging materials be biodegradable, recyclable, and, where possible, made from recycled materials themselves.
We encourage you to recycle or reuse any packing materials we send to you.
We offer shipping to our non-US customers, although some items are restricted for non-US sales. Please make sure you read our guidelines below as we will need to edit any order before shipment to ensure it follows the following information. Note that your final shipping costs may need to be changed after your order is placed due to the limitations of our system and taking into consideration any customs fees or extra delivery fees. With DHL 3-Day, there may be an additional surcharge for what DHL describes as "remote delivery." We will always communicate any changes to you prior to shipping your items. It is important that we have a valid email address and/or phone number. If we cannot confirm these changes to your order, we will cancel your order and issue you a full refund. See conditions below.

We reserve the right to not ship to specific countries and areas. Successfully placing an order does not guarantee shipment until the contents of the shipment and destination are confirmed to ensure we are in compliance with laws and regulations.

We make every attempt to provide you great everyday carry gear, regardless of where you live. For all non-US shipments, you must agree on the following conditions:
- Pay all shipping costs, including for returns/exchanges/warranty work
- Pay any and all taxes, duties, etc.
- If items get lost, stolen, or seized by customs, we are not accountable, and cannot give a refund
- Understand the laws in your country and have proper permits where applicable
Note that we will not falsify customs documents. When you place an order with us, you take responsibility for the possibility that your items may be seized at customs. This risk is yours. We will list exact items and exact values, in accordance with national and federal laws.
